I found a list where basketball was the biggest ball. And a list of new sports in Tokyo. So it was a good match to the columns regarding team size, ball size and first year. Good enough for me to try it. So more a lucky guess.

I think there are a couple of ways into this puzzle. One is to ask what sport I could be, that has a ball with two different circumferences. Another is to think about sport A, with a small team size and a HUGE playing area. Once you start to fix some sports in place, you can start to fill in the gaps.
