Having python bindings (library, etc) that can be used to embed in custom software will expand the availability of choices for end users to quickly interact with HOPR and create new apps.

It could be included as it has some similarities, but, as stated, I would encourage to do it in python as it is a very known programming language.
Having an ‘SDK’ in Rust or other languages might not have the same reach that a python one would and if it will satisfy the proposal you linked, it will leave this one outside of the table.
